Sermugnano is a small helmet in Lazio country. It is the perfect place to relax and in a strategic location to visit the area around. Orvieto, Civita di Bagnoregio, Bolsena and Viterbo are very close. It is also a good place to explore Umbria or Tuscany since we are in a precious triangle beetween three italian beautiful regions.
Sermugnano village is very small and with few inhabitants. It jus has a small market. Castiglione in Teverina, the main village, Sermugnano belongs to, is 10 km away from it. There you can find all kinds of markets, cinema, wine museum, gym, bars and restaurants. The closest main train station in Orvieto. If you need we can arrange to pick you up. If you like walking there are a lot of trekking routes and special places to walk to trough the nature and try typical food and wine. |

The Castle
This is a traditional stone house with an high and huge wooden roof totally renovated. It is an unique place because it is inside an VIII century castle. The view from the windows is amazing. The house is surrounded from the valley with the hills changing colors depending from the season, the vineyards and a special landscape of Castiglione in Teverina. From the balcony you can see the main square and the typical village roofs.
